Our Ministries
Worship
We believe that the worship of God is the highest calling of the Christian and that it must be done according to Christ’s instruction to worship “in spirit and in truth” (John 4:24). With this understanding, we have endeavored to fashion our worship to focus on God and His Word, not on man. Our worship has certain elements that we believe the scriptures teach are necessary for true worship. Those elements include: reverent humble prayer, the reading of scriptures with Godly fear, the sound preaching of the Word, the singing of psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with grace in the heart and the proper dispensing and receiving of the sacraments (Baptism and the Lord’s Supper).
With these values in mind, our Worship includes the following elements each week:
Call to Worship
Singing of Psalms, Hymns and Spiritual Songs (interspersed throughout the worship)
Prayer
Confession of Sin (both Corporately and Individually)
Reading or Singing of the Ten Commandments
Doxology
Reading of Scripture
Ascription of Praise
Confession of Faith
Sermon
Lord’s Supper
Benediction

Sunday School
Each Sunday we make available a variety of Sunday School classes. We generally meet together as families for instruction but at times we have made specific classes available for given age groups as the Elders have believed it prudent for the edification of the congregation.
Bible Studies
Currently we have a Bible Study that meets on the first and third Tuesdays of each month and at 1:00 p.m. at the home of a member family. We are studying through the Book of Acts. This is a neighborhood Bible Study and is open to whoever would like to join us.
Head of Household Meetings
At least once every quarter, the Heads of Households meet together for Bible Instruction, and discussions on the life of the local Church, encouraging one another in their Christian walk prayer and fellowship. We believe these meetings encourage the men of the Church to be the spiritual leaders in their homes, and to model Christ likeness to His family.
WIC (Women in the Church)
A vital function of our Church is the ministry of the women who dedicate time, talent and resources for the edification of the covenant community. The ladies of the Church meet at least quarterly for prayer and encouragement as well as planning ways to enhance the ministry of Trinity Presbyterian Church.
