Bible Study Helps on the Web

by Pastor Chuck, Mon, Dec 7th, 2009

Over the years, many have inquired as to what websites I utilize in my sermon preparation and Bible study. There are a variety of sites that I cosult but find myself frequenting three sites. They are BibleGateway. com, Center for Reformed Theolgy and Apologetics (reformed.org) and Christian Classics Ethereal Library (ccel.org).

Biblegateway.com has searchable access to virtually every Bible translation known to man. I am on this website multiple times each week.

Reformed. org has many original documents from the reformation period that are somewhat searchable. This particular site is not designed for intricate searches but can be maneuvered easily.

CCEL.org is a website that has searchable documents from numerous Church fathers from every century of Church history. Historical studies are best done in the primary documents and this website provides a nice variety of authors and sources.
