We are thrilled to once again invite you to Trinity Presbyterian's annual Yuletide Ball! As usual we are requiring all attendees to fill out the registration form that is linked below, and there is a $25/person fee. We are making a few alterations this year so please carefully read the event details below. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask.
We are also hosting a free weekly dance class at Trinity on Monday evenings at 7pm. You are welcome to join us if you would like to practice the dances that will be called at the Ball. You can find more details in our Facebook group.
Registration Form: Yuletide Ball Signup
Date & Time: January 2nd, 2026 at 6 pm
Location: 316 Adela Avenue Ludlow, KY 41016
Schedule: Doors open at 6 pm; a full sit down dinner will be served up stairs at 6:30 pm; dancing begins at 8:00 pm. The ball will “end” at a somewhat decent hour (10:30-11 pm), but if there are enough ambitious and energetic individuals we may stay later and do more dancing.
Price: $25/attendee at the door.
Food: A full sit down dinner will be provided; desserts will be served during the dance break down stairs in the fellowship Hall.
Age Limit: 13 years
Dance Styles: Waltz, Scottish Country, English Country, Contra, and Square.
Dance Rules: Be Courteous at all Times
Dress Code: Semi Formal
Men: Tuxedo (or tuxedo equivalent), a black bow tie, white pleated dress shirt, waist covering (cummerbund or waistcoat), and patent leather opera pumps or oxfords. Women: Floor/ankle length formal dress that is comfortable and will accommodate lively dancing. Please, no strapless or backless dresses, or dresses with slits above the knee. Here is a useful website for Women http://www.blacktieguide.com/Supplemental/Ladies.htm
If you do not have black tie attire do the best you can. For men a black or grey three (or two) piece suit with a conservative shirt and subdued tie is an acceptable substitute. Please avoid brown shoes, waistcoats worn alone, or shirts without ties and jackets.
